Sunset Safari and Night Sky Tour

Save Hundreds on a Safari and Night Sky Tour!

Get the full Grand Teton National Park experience by watching it transition from day to night with an expert safari guide and a well-versed astronomy educator. On your safari, you’ll get to spot the wildlife residing in the park, while being educated on the geology and history that shaped the region. Once the safari is rounded out, you’ll be treated to dinner where your astronomy educator will then bring you out under a clear evening sky to watch the stars light up. Using Wyoming Stargazing’s powerful telescopes, you’ll be treated to one of the darkest night skies in the lower 48!

Should weather interfere with the stargazing segment of the tour, you’ll have the option to reschedule, switch your tour to a full sunset safari, or cancel altogether. In either case, you save on both a wildlife safari and a night sky tour!

What can we expect from our tour?

In addition to the spectacular sights and wildlife of Grand Teton National Park, you’ll also get to experience a sky with as little light pollution as you’ll find in the lower 48. The first 3 hours or so will be along the lines of our classic half-day wildlife safari, where you’ll find all the active wildlife along your route while learning about the incredible geology and history that created this iconic area.

Once the safari has concluded, you’ll break with your guide for an complementary dinner, where you’ll then meet your astronomy guide who will take you out under the immaculate night sky. As daylight fades, you’ll get to see stars coming out in the dimming light – first a few, then dozens, then hundreds, then more than you can count! Using high-end telescopes from Wyoming Stargazing, you’ll be able to peer deep into the cosmos and learn all about its enigmatic mysteries.
