About the Trip
Experience the wonder of Grand Teton National Park in the winter season. With a completely different wildlife dynamic than in the summer, the valley of Jackson Hole takes on a completely different appearance. With wildlife shifting into its winter pattern, we routinely see bighorn sheep, moose, elk, and coyotes. Wolves are even occasionally spotted as they follow the elk onto the National Elk Refuge.

What wildlife will we see on our tour?
Winter wildlife in Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park goes highly underrated. As one of the easiest times to witness the charismatic wildlife of the region, the wildlife that we encounter during the winter months is unparalleled. From moose, elk, bighorn sheep, wolves, coyotes, and much more, new surprises are waiting around every turn!
Into birds? So are we! There are dozens of birds that are frequently hard to see during the warmer months, so if you’re interested, your guide will point them out.
In addition, you’ll discover from your guide how geologic forces shaped the valley, as well as the history that helped shape the culture.
